Snake

Fishing is shifting on the Snake. Flows have been dropping since the 22nd, now at 2190 cfs at the gauge above Alpine. This shift in flows typically leads to fish moving downriver, so fishing in the canyon will continue to get better and better.

This coming week, rain is forecasted in the early part of the week, which might bump flows. After Tuesday, the weather is supposed to be partly cloudy, and mid-60s, with cold temperatures at night.

Sunday through Tuesday try fishing nymphs and streamers, then keep an eye out for BWOs and PMDs later in the week.

Salt

The Salt is currently flowing at 601 cfs and has been lowering as well. The weather near Etna on the lower Salt this next week looks like 70s in the daytime, upper thirties at night, after rain on Monday and Tuesday.

In the mornings try fishing flashy streamers, or beadhead nymphs. As it warms up keep an eye out for rises and potentially fish small mayflies to rising fish, or hoppers if it’s getting especially warm.

Green

The Green is incredibly low. It’s been dropping since the last storm and is currently at 200 cfs at Warren Bridge. The forecast for Pinedale predicts rain in the next couple of days, and then partly cloudy in the day but colder at night. Fish streamers!
